The PCC regularly receives funding from partner organisations to spend on specific initiatives.
During 2013-14, the PCC received partnership funding for specific areas of spending.
The PCC provided some of these additional funds to the force in line with the requirements of the funding provider
There are often instances when funding can’t always be spent in the financial year, in which it was received and/or for which it was intended. This funding is then made available in the following financial year.
The PCC currently holds £2,829 in relation to anti-social behaviour (ASB) diversion schemes, which the force began in 2013-14.
The force is committed to work in this area and is, therefore, seeking the release of a further £524.00 to continue the work. The money will be spent on the following:
ASB Diversion Schemes (£524)
This funding was received from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council for ASB Diversion Schemes.
The project is to provide activities for young people during the holiday period to divert them from ASB and also to provide community links between young people and the Police. Activities are to be held twice a week during the holiday period
